"Here comes the bride...", South Dakota!!! Bethany the Nanny...

So Rachel is getting married in October, the 2nd to be exact!! That fact had me on the hunt for a new place to live, possible move a new job...you know...the usual for me!! :) Since I still don't really know what I am going to be when I grow up I have just been enjoying what the Lord has put before me right now but I really wasn't crazy about living with the newlyweds and I felt that maybe a more permanent location and job was in store. My last visit to South Dakota confirmed in my heart that I love that place and the people (mainly the people)!!! I am ready to go back for a good long while at least! On that note I began looking for a job, I have an interview lined up at a local coffee bistro in Custer but knew if I got the job it would only be part time. So I continued my Craigslist hunt. Thats when I came across a small post requesting a nanny for two girls located right in Custer!! I sent my resume, got in contact with the family and now am making plans to move to Custer to be a nanny the beginning of October!!! I am soooooo excited about this life change! God has been so good to orchestrate everything & I am confident He will continue to do so!! I am still thinking about a different title though...not sure I like "nanny"...hmmm...I am still working on that!! Reminds me of a goat for some reason...not sure why!!!

Life!! What a trip!! I have been living in Virginia for the past 7 months and the Lord has been teaching me so much about Himself! That in turn has revealed much about myself. Not always the most pleasant of revelations but very incredible in the fact that God is growing, changing, transforming me in His strength and time! I have been able to come to know a real relationship that is mine, ALL mine and my Saviors! I am not living for anyone or anything other than my precious Jesus who loves and accepts me in all my unique crazy and individual ways!

Some more changes are approaching on my horizon and I am excited for them!! So many opportunities and adventures yet to come!

One of my accomplishments while here in Virginia was to successfully grow from seed, TWO beautiful avocado trees!!! I am soooo freakin excited about them! They are my little babies and will have to go with me wherever I go!!

I STRONGLY dislike the cold!!! Very STRONGLY!!

I am such a cold blooded person that I about die when the weather turns freezing! If it is going to snow this much and be this horribly cold I would rather it be Christmas so that I can get more presents!! Oh well! I will just go do something profitable bundled up in my fleece blankets and dream of warmth and sunny days!!!

Utah was awesome! I spent some much needed time with Aletha and got to do some pretty cool stuff as well! (The outdoor hot-tub was my favorite even though I about died getting to it and racing back to the apt. from it because I was so cold!)
I am soooooo very thankful for family and special friends. I don't know where I would be without them!
